I found this box of psychology cards a few years ago – and it seemed interesting…so I bought it.
And never really opened it again.
This seems to be a theme of many of the items I’ve RID – things that seemed interesting in a store, but not really that interesting once they got in my home.
The RID project has changed my orientation towards shopping. I hesitate a lot more before purchasing things these days, thinking about how the item could become one I simply RID.
Here’s to more considered purchases.
